Yesterday I learned that I had won an award for my last novel, THE DEVIL'S TRINITY. It has been chosen as Authors' Choice for January on www.AmazonClicks.com. It certainly brought a smile to my face. Perhaps I should have said it brought a wry smile to my face because this is the book that sold out last year and John Hale has refused to print any more. C'est la vie!

Hi Mick, that's wonderful news! Well done! I am sure our publisher will print more books once it is justified. We will have to work on convincing him. Meanwhile. successes like yours go a long way. Warm wishes, Loren Teague
That's good advice from Loren, Mick. Keep promoting the book regardless and potential customers' orders will keep filtering through to the publishers. Was Mr Hale's refusal as total as you imply? Others have been told that 100 orders, and no returns of unsold copies, will prompt reconsideration. I never expected A Gunfight Too Many to be reprinted, but I didn't stop mentioning it and the "western noir" article that was pegged on it at Black Horse Extra.

Congratualtions, Mick.
A very nice surprise.

How lovely, Mick!
I agree with Chap - create the demand and Hale will have to comply.
Congratulations, Mick.
Congratulations, Mick. I wonder if my review of your book was removed from Amazon when the book was declared 'out of print' by Hale? Anyway, I've put it up again...

PS - My Pain Wears No Mask won the Amazonclicks award September last year.
